Q: Are there any reference fees we have to pay?

A: No, unlike other accommodation, Queen Street does not charge any reference fees.

Q: Are there any administration charges I need to pay?

A: There is no initial administration charge on standard length tenancies but we do charge the following renewal fees:

  • 12 months and over. no fee.
  • 6-12 months. £25.
  • 3-6 months. £50.
  • 3 months and under. £75.

If you are taking a tenancy under 6 months (subject to approval) a fee of £150 is payable.

Q: Are there any inventory costs for the furnished rooms?

A: No, the inventory is completed when you take your keys, there is no inventory cost

Q: Are there any hidden application charges associated for renting with Queen Street?

A: No, there are no fees when you sign our standard short hold tenancies for 6 months or more. By waiving the application charges you could save up to £165 or more per year when comparing to other agents.

Q: What is the minimum amount of time I can stay?

A:We do offer a three month let however all monies must be paid upfront and this is subject to an administration charge and availability. 12 Months is our standard minimum stay period

Q: Who owns and controls the building and who looks after the maintenance?

A: We own number 19 and number 21 Queen Street and we have an on site team of maintenance workers who ensure that repairs or problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently. We also have an on site management team who are available at reception during normal office hours to help or answer any questions.

Q: What is the security like at Queen Street?

A: Security is taken very seriously; we have a key fob system that allows access through the main gate and access to your specific apartment only. We have on site CCTV running 24 hours per day and you can tune your TV into the CCTV channel so that you can see the site and building. The site is also visited by a uniformed independent security company to ensure that our security is up to date and active.
